Starting Small-Faith in the Ordinary

How simple daily habits reflect our love for God (Matthew 5:16)
It starts small.
Opening your Bible even if your kids have woken you up three times last night.
Sending a text, to encourage a friend, even when you’re worn out yourself.
Choosing joy even when your laundry overflows, dinner’s brunt, and you don’t feel like smiling.
Faith isn’t about a picture-perfect, devotionals with pastel highlighters.
It’s about staying rooted when the wind picks up.
It’s about whispering “Lord, help me” when you’re overwhelmed—and trusting that He will.
It’s loving your family when they’re hard to love.
It’s walking the walk when no one is clapping.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…” — Colossians 3:23
You don’t need a platform. You already have one: your life.
📝 Reflect:
Where have I overlooked the sacred in my everyday routine?
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, remind me that no moment is wasted when it’s lived with You. Open my eyes to see the holy in the ordinary. Help me live today with purpose, gentleness, and joy. Amen.
