Ingredients

Instructions
- Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg, maple syrup, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients; mix until a soft dough forms.
- Scoop dough into balls and place on a parchment‑lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle tops with sugar.
- Bake at 350°F for 9–11 minutes until edges are set and tops are crackly.
- Cool on a rack and serve warm.
